Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing & Tattoo Removal by Pico Lazer & Qswitch Technologies

Q-Switch Technology Multiple treatments, various skin types, reliable technology. Tattoo, Melasma, Acne Scar, Wrinkle Reduction, Stretchmarks, The Q switch is a multi-wavelength system which provides the consistent results that practitioners worldwide depend on and trust.

The Q Switch provides a flat-top beam profile, producing consistent results with few complications and reliable treatments time after time. This homogeneous beam delivery energy spreads evenly over the skin’s surface, minimizing epidermal injury and increasing patient satisfaction. Removes tattoos, treats pigmentary conditions, and reduces acne scarring and wrinkles.

The Q-Switched laser produces 2 wavelengths, one in the infrared range that penetrates deeply into the skin without injuring the top layer of skin and a second beam of that is useful for superficial skin lesions. Q-switching refers to the technique of making the laser produce a high intensity beam in very short pulses.

The laser can be used to rejuvenate many areas of the body including the face, neck, chest, and back.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The high-speed light energy is released in a series of very fast (nanosecond) pulses, which microscopically vibrate and shatter the pigment into tiny particles deep within the skin. These particles are then naturally reabsorbed and disposed of by the body.

The Q-Switch laser’s energy also targets the building blocks of healthy skin, stimulating new collagen growth to replenish the collagen we lose as we age.

For more aggressive treatment of advanced photodamage, a physician can change the settings of the Q-Switch laser. After this one-time procedure, the skin will appear slightly red, like sunburn, for a few days.

This more advanced treatment is appropriate for patients with light to medium skin tones and significant photodamage including large brown “sun spots,” an increased number of moderate wrinkles, and a ‘leathery’ texture.

The laser can also be used to treat deeper pigment problems, including melasma.

Pico Lazer, Tattoo Removal

The Pico laser uses ultra-short pulses that diffuse ink particles with high pressure. As a result, the ink breaks into small dust particles. After they are broken down, these particles are easily absorbed and eliminated by the body. The results are better removal of the tattoo and fewer procedures to completely remove it. According to the specialists the Pico laser is the most preferred method of removing tattoos. It can be effective for all types of skin. The procedure takes about 10-15 minutes per session, depending on the size of the processed area. Each intervention is associated with slight discomfort, no greater than the pain of getting the tattoo in the first place. The recommended period between the different procedures is 2 to 8 weeks, but this depends on the person.

How do Hollywood stars, models, and media personalities keep their skin glowing and unblemished year after year? This and many of our other laser skin treatments can leave you looking and feeling your best following the procedure. With this treatment, you’ll benefit from a procedure that has given many of our patients the results they want, through a safe procedure.

How it works.
We’ll apply a layer of liquid carbon to your face (or body), allowing it to penetrate deeply into your pores and let it dry. The carbon bonds with any debris that might be present, like dead skin cells, contaminants and oil.

We’ll then pass a laser across the surface of your skin. Because the laser light is super attracted to carbon particles, its energy and heat is absorbed by the carbon paste destroying the particles in your pores.

Light from the laser is attracted to the carbon. The carbon absorbs the light energy. The reaction causes a mini explosion. The explosion pushes the energy, in the form of heat, deep into the layers of the skin where elastin and collagen are activated and cells begin producing anew. Meanwhile, on the surface of the skin, as the explosion occurs the carbon is vaporized along with any dirt, oil or dead skin cells. Sounds kind of scary, with all the explosions and vaporizing, but don’t worry. There’s very little discomfort or pain. The sensation has been described as a mild tingling or very slight pinch.

How long do results last?
It will depend on the condition of your skin, your skin type and your lifestyle.

You’ll probably notice results after a single treatment. However, for long-term results, we recommend regular treatments – 4-6 treatments are optimal, spaced 2-4 weeks apart.

Please note: If you’ve recently had dermal filler or toxin treatments, we’ll recommend you wait a minimum of 2 weeks before undergoing Carbon Laser Skin Rejuvenation.

Will it hurt?
No! The treatment is gentle, non-invasive and painless. You’ll probably hear a small pulse as we target the carbon particles in your pores with the laser. Our clients describe the feeling as warm or prickly but not painful.

Erbium Laser Peel

Erbium Laser Peel is another groundbreaking treatment used for laser skin resurfacing. It is a mild and minimal invasive procedure that treats fine lines and wrinkles on the face, hands, neck and chest. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia or by using sedatives and thus has no down-time. It also has a faster healing process which makes the patients get back to their routine earlier.

The erbium laser skin resurfacing is the treatment of choice for those who would like to achieve dramatic improvement in the
appearance of their skin. This procedure successfully removes superficial lines to moderately deep wrinkles with less pain, fewer
side-effects, and a more rapid recovery than other treatments. An erbium laser provides a milder and less invasive treatment option
than a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser

The procedure aims to remove the layers of skin to make way for the newer skin to appear on the surface. The area to be treated is numbed topically. Then the skin is ablated by exposing it to a continuous fine beam of laser light. This removes the epidermis of the skin and initiates collagen production. The layers of skin that come up after the treatment look younger and smooth, free from fine lines and wrinkles. The collagen production helps in the tightening of the skin.

Toe nail fungal

Toe Nail Fungal Treatment By Laser treatment for toenail fungus works by aiming a 1064nm wave-length laser at the affected area. The laser delivers light energy to gently heat the toenail bed and kill the toenail fungus and the fungal spores that spread the fungus.

Many people are self-conscious about their feet, so when they notice something might be wrong with them, they might not seek treatment right away, which only makes things worse and allows the problem to worsen. Toenail fungus is one such problem. A fungal infection underneath the toenails is one of the conditions our patients tell us embarrasses them the most, but rest assured, there’s nothing to be embarrassed about. Toenail fungus is extremely common and nothing to be ashamed of. Roughly 10 percent of Americans have toenail fungus, but that number drastically increases in older patients. Fortunately, fungal nail infections are relatively easy to diagnose and treat, particularly with modern technology like laser treatments.

How Do You Get Toenail Fungus?

Fungus thrives in damp, moist environments. Pools, hot tubs, saunas, and showers are all places where you can pick up a nasty case of toenail fungus — particularly if they’re shared or public facilities. You can also end up with toenail fungus if you wear sweaty socks or
shoes for too long. You might not notice you have a problem at first, as toenail fungus usually starts out as a small yellow spot under your toenails. However, over time the fungus will spread, ultimately thickening the toenail while simultaneously causing it to become
fragile or cracked. It can even spread from under the nail and onto the surrounding skin of your toes and foot, at which point the condition isn’t just toenail fungus, but also athlete’s foot.

How Can You Prevent Toenail Fungus?

Sometimes, it’s tough to prevent a case of toenail fungus if you simply happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, but in general, practicing good hygiene can help ward off an infection. Try to dry off your feet after they get wet, and if you’re in a damp, public area, wear flip flops to prevent your feet from coming into direct contact with a potentially dirty or contaminated surface. If you don’t have flip flops or shoes, don’t forget to wash your feet after you’ve been barefoot in a public area.

Clipping your toenails in order to keep them short makes it easier to keep them clean as well, but don’t share nail clippers with other people, as this can also transfer the types of fungus that can cause an infection. In addition, if you go to a nail salon, be sure it’s a
reputable and certified facility that cleans and sterilizes its tools after each use.

How is Toenail Fungus Treated?

There are a number of courses of action to help eliminate toenail fungus, but they vary in their effectiveness. Some individuals like to use a topical antifungal cream, but the results aren’t always satisfactory. A more reliable method is an oral antifungal medication such as terbinafine (more commonly known by its brand name of Lamisil). However, this can take roughly 12 weeks to clear up toenail fungus, and the appearance of the nails often leaves something to be desired. As a result, more and more patients are opting for laser treatment.

Why is Laser Nail Treatment So Beneficial?

Laser treatment for toenail fungus is the sure-fire way to clear up the unsightly appearance brought on by the fungus and return your feet to their normal appearance. laser treatments to penetrate beneath the surface of your toenail and kill the underlying fungus without causing any damage to the surrounding areas of the toe or nail. Each laser session only lasts 10 minutes, and the procedure is pain-free. It usually only takes three or four treatments to completely solve the problem, and there is no recovery time after each
session.

Laser treatment will completely destroy the fungus under your nails and stop it from spreading. Once your nail grows out, it will return to its original, natural, and healthy clear appearance.

Conclusion

If you have toenail fungus, it’s important to get rid of the infection now before it becomes any worse. If left to linger, a fungal nail infection can discolor and damage your nails, spread to other areas of your foot, and even cause a foul odor and pain when walking. In extreme cases, removal of the toenail is sometimes necessary. Fortunately, most cases of toenail fungus are very routine and easily treatable, especially if diagnosed early on. You don’t need to be embarrassed about your condition any longer!
