Ultralight Therapy for Face & Body

LED light therapy has become one of the most popular and sought-after devices because it can be used on ALL patients in ALL aesthetic practices for ALL skin types. The UltraLight has been ergonomically designed for treating the face and the body with 3 large wrap-around panels that contain LED lamps and three distinct wavelengths. The treatment involves exposing the skin to low levels of specific light energy. The UltraLight delivers Red 633nm, Green 532nm and Blue 415nm wavelengths. Each individual wavelength has a specific target chromophore within the skin. These wavelengths stimulate various cellular processes that provide therapeutic results. The light therapy promotes collagen production, removes redness, reduces inflammation, circumferential reduction, improves the appearance of pigmented and vascular lesions, and treats acne.

UltraLight Red

(633nm)

Specific for inflammation, pigmentation and can also increase collagen, blood circulation, and cellular regeneration.

UltraLight Green

(532nm)

Specific for circumferential reduction of flank, hips, waist, and thighs.

UltraLight Blue

(415nm)

Specific for treating active acne.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is an effective exfoliating treatment. The esthetician uses a surgical scalpel to gently scrape off any dead skin cells on the surface of your skin (along with the peach fuzz on your face). Why is this necessary? The buildup of dead skin and microscopic hairs can make your complexion appear dull, flaky, and can even cause breakouts due to clogged pores and hair follicles. Dermaplaning is a procedure that exfoliates your skin and gets rid of dirt and vellus hair, better known as “peach fuzz.”

Benefits of Dermaplaning
The exfoliation and hair removal can leave your skin brighter and smoother. The treatment may soften fine lines and wrinkles and ease hyperpigmentation, or uneven skin tone. It’s also used to treat deep acne scars. How well it works really depends on your skin type, tone, and medical history.

Cosmelan Peel

A two-step treatment where the peel is applied to the skin by a certified skin care professional and is then washed off at home after the mask is worn for several hours.

Cosmelan MD is a chemical peel system that treats hyperpigmentation and skin discoloration issues, such as irregular skin tone, sun spots, acne scars (aka post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation), and melasma. It also improves the overall texture of your skin.

It’s a two-step depigmentation treatment involving application of the Cosmelan 1 peel at your doctor’s office and regular use of the Cosmelan 2 at-home maintenance cream.

  • Cosmelan is one of few treatments found to be effective for stubborn melasma.
  • The active ingredients in the peel and cream together act on all stages of the melanin production process, to both eliminate existing marks of hyperpigmentation and prevent the appearance of new dark spots.
  • Its formula is suitable for all skin types and tones.

PCA Chemical Peel

Chemical peels are one of the more common cosmetic procedures for making skin look healthier and removing blemishes. PCA peels are newer and less harsh than traditional chemical peels. PCA peels are progressive, in that they aren’t one-treatment peels.

Professionally applied peel solutions exfoliate dead skin cells and help healthy skin cells rise to the surface. These treatments allow deeper layers of fresh and untouched skin to be revealed. The result of monthly treatments can even skin tone, clear acne, improve the appearance of aging skin and make dull complexions glow.

Peels are safe for all skin types, and PCA Certified Professionals are trained to identify what treatment combination is safe for each person’s skin in order for patients to reap the greatest benefits. Professional peels are increasingly effective with pre- and post-treatment care, balancing your skin before the peel and nurturing it after the treatment.

Vein Removal By Yag Laser

Vein Removal by Long Pulse Yag Is able to penetrate deeper into the skin than lasers that use shorter wavelengths of light. This enables treatment of deeper vascular lesions such as reticular veins, deeper spider veins, hemangiomas and leg veins than can be targeted with other lasers.

YAG penetrates the skin, penetrating the blood vessel or spider vein. The energy generates heat, coagulating the blood within the vein, causing it to collapse, sealing it closed. The blood is rerouted to deeper blood vessels, and the damaged vein slowly disappears as the body sheds the cells naturally.

Dermasweep

Go beyond the surface with effective non-invasive treatment options for all skin types. Dermasweep is the 30-minute solution to your skincare concerns. Our unique and customizable technology gently lifts away the top layer of skin, increases microcirculation, and delivers key skin nutrients. Exclusive solutions formulated with cutting-edge ingredients are added to target specific skin care needs.

Using a variable-level vacuum and an assortment of treatment tips, the DermaSweep wand gently lifts the skin against the appropriate treatment tip, removing the top most layer of skin. Your skin is left smoother while the vacuum action of the wand stimulates blood flow and cleans pores.

Increasing blood flow to the skin’s surface encourages collagen formation thus firming and toning the epidermis as well. Following the desired level of exfoliation, skin specific infusions are delivered to the skin to target your unique skin care needs for maximum results.

Viora Skin Tightening

An aesthetic body contouring and skin tightening system that incorporates premier technology to provide a full body treatment unlike any other. It successfully performs deep tissue heating, mechanical skin stretches and mechanical massage, which result in a more flattering contour.

The system uses patented technology known as CORETM (Channeling Optimized RF Energy), which features three distinct modes of radio frequencies along with a special fourth, multi-channel dimension that can run all three modes simultaneously, if desired. CORETM delivers heat to the skin using the three different treatment modes to target various depths of tissue. Using the fourth mode makes for a stronger, more accurate thermal response that penetrates all layers of the skin.

ReactionTM also employs vacuum therapy which helps maximize the RF energy. As radio frequency heats up the skin, the metabolic breakdown of adipocytes, or fat cells, increases along with oxygen diffusion. The vacuum intensifies the process, making for deeper penetration that increases the blood circulation, stimulating lymphatic drainage and enhancing elasticity.

The skin tightening process applies bi-polar radio frequency energy to heat the dermis, which strengthens the tissue fibers and collagen to improve laxity. The built-in cooling mechanism, combined with the CORETM technology, allows the RF energy to stimulate fibroblasts to make skin more elastic, enhance the (make line continuous) collage secretion and start the production of pro-collagen for long-lasting effects.

Why the Pixel 8-RF?

The PiXel 8-RF uses bi-polar, RF energy alongside minimally invasive micro-needles to facilitate effective, non-surgical, skin tightening with little to no downtime. During the treatment, heat is driven deep within the skin layers to stimulate and remodel the collagen and cause elastin cells to regenerate. This results in a firmer, smoother, and more consistent skin surface.

Developed to combat the signs of aging and suited for all skin types. After a single treatment, most patients notice that the area treated is smoother and softer. The amount of energy delivered into the tissue is adjustable and the micro-needles can be adjusted from .5mm up to 3.5mm to address each individual patient’s needs. The PiXel 8-RF uses a unique design for tissue coagulation and hemostasis that may improve fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars and striae.

Photo Rejuvenation or Intense Pulsed Light by Palomar or Spectrum

Photofacial can be used on the face, arms and chest. Imagine your skin before all those hours in the sun. The Palomar Pulsed Light Photofacial offers comfortable and effective treatment of sun damage and visible veins. IPL Photofacial treatments break up pigment so the body can more easily remove it through exfoliation.

  • Intense-pulsed light (IPL) and light-emitting diode (LED) technology penetrates deep within the skin to stimulate dormant cells and encourage collagen production.
  • Treatments are noninvasive, have minimal side effects and require no recovery time.
  • Photorejuvenation is proven to be an effective treatment for acne, rosacea and hyperpigmentation.
  • Photorejuvenation can be used on almost any part of the body.

Photorejuvenation, sometimes referred to as a photofacial, is a fast, noninvasive skin treatment that employs high-intensity pulses of broadband light to effectively treat skin discoloration and photoaging at the cellular level.

Photorejuvenation uses light and laser therapy to rejuvenate the skin and give it on overall smoother and younger appearance. There are two types of broadband light used in photorejuvenation procedures: IPL and LED.

Both types penetrate deep within the skin to stimulate dormant skin cells while encouraging new collagen and elastin to develop.

Intense-pulsed light treatments (IPL)

IPL is a powerful broad-spectrum light that emits high-intensity pulses of light energy deep into the epidermis, causing blood vessels and collagen fibers to constrict without damaging the surface layer of skin.

It treats skin conditions so effectively because once targeted, the light is immediately absorbed by red blood cells and melanin deep within the skin, purposely damaging the areas where it’s been directed. This results in pigmentation being broken up while simultaneously speeding up cell turnover, effectively transforming red, patchy, sun-damaged skin to a more even complexion.

Spider removal by IPL

Photofacials use Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) to treat a variety of skin conditions, including acne scars, broken capillaries and spider veins, rosacea, fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, and hyperpigmentation.

IPL can be used to improve multiple skin discoloration issues such as pigmented vascular lesions (telangiectasis, port wine stains, etc.) as well as pigmented skin spots or scars, stretch marks, fine lines and wrinkles, and dark hair. IPL uses light energy to target specific areas in the skin.

Acne Blue Light

Blue light therapy is the type of light therapy most commonly used to address acne breakouts. The wavelength of blue light has an antimicrobial effect, making it effective at killing several types of bacteria that can collect in your pores and oil glands and cause breakouts.

Because IPL employs a wide range of wavelengths, professionals typically use it to treat patients suffering from multiple skin discoloration issues over one large area, such as the face, chest, arms or back.

Sclerotherapy

Asclera ® (polidocanol) Injection is a prescription medicine that is used in a procedure called sclerotherapy to remove unwanted veins on your legs. It is administered by a healthcare provider to treat two types of veins: Uncomplicated spider veins (very small varicose veins ≤ 1 mm in diameter)

Ssclerotherapy effectively treats varicose and spider veins. It’s often considered the treatment of choice for small varicose veins.

Sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution directly into the vein. The sclerotherapy solution causes the vein to scar, forcing blood to reroute through healthier veins. The collapsed vein is reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades.

After sclerotherapy, treated veins tend to fade within a few weeks, although occasionally it may take a month or more to see the full results. In some instances, several sclerotherapy treatments may be needed.

This service is also available at our second location on Mondays by appointment.

Diamond Glow™

Looking for a non-surgical skin care treatment that does triple-duty? Then it’s time to meet Diamond Glow™ formerly known as Dermal infusion, an innovative treatment that exfoliates the skin, extracts impurities and corrects all within one single treatment. Diamond Glow is an excellent treatment for busy clients who demand more from their skincare appointments.

Diamond Glow™ is more than a facial. Unlike traditional wet facial treatments, which rely on chemical exfoliation to treat skin at surface level, Diamond Glow’s™ patented recessed diamond tip wand delivers a next-level resurfacing treatment that deeply cleans and rejuvenates the skin.

What the procedure is:

Diamond Glow Dermalinfusion is an advanced skin-resurfacing treatment that combines exfoliation, extraction, and infusion of condition-specific serums to improve skin health, function and appearance.

By infusing the skin with serums at the moment of exfoliation, skin experiences maximum penetration of active ingredients at optimal skin depths, and enhanced serum absorption and retention receptivity at a deeper level.

The key to the Diamond Glow Dermalinfusion technology lies in its line of specifically formulated, professional strength Pro-Infusion serums. Each serum is the product of advanced research in skin care science and is designed to address a specific skin condition.

Pro-Infusion serums targets specific skin concerns including:

  • Anti-aging: fine lines & wrinkles, sallow skin
  • Hyperpigmentation: dark spots, sun damage, PIH
  • Dry and dehydrated skin
  • Oily-prone skin
  • Congestion
  • Rough skin texture

Understanding the procedure

Typically an hour long appointment, we start by cleansing your skin and determining with your esthetician the serum that would be the most beneficial for your customized treatment. Prior to treatment the wand suction and serum infusion levels are set based on your skin type and serum chosen. During the treatment the wand is guided across your face in a horizontal or vertical motion based on the area being treated. You will experience a sanding feeling similar to a cat lick along with suction as the treatment is performed. In areas of congestion such as the T-Zone the wand may be held in place and twisted to aid with extractions. There is little to no pain associated with this treatment. After two passes, the treatment is complete.

What to expect post treatment

After treatment, your skin may appear red or flushed, but this is temporary and should go away quickly. Patients report skin that appears smoother, plumped, and hydrated after treatment. This is a great treatment in preparation for a special event.
